Consulting Package

Initial Consultation - Our team will sit down with you, your family, and your caregiver(s) to discuss your personal situation, including your short-term and long-term goals, any concerns you may have, and the estimated budget for your project. We will also be in communication with your home building or remodeling team from the beginning of design work until the completion of construction.

Home Safety Assessment - If you decide to update your existing home, we will take some time to become familiar with the space. Our team will assist in identifying both your areas of anticipated concerns and opportunities to improve the safety and functionality of your space. If you are planning on constructing a new home, La Fe Consulting will work alongside your designer, architect, or contractor to make recommendations that optimize how easily and safely you move in your new space.

Functional Mobility Assessment - While performing your home safety assessment, our physical therapist will be analyzing how you move in your space. We will address how your balance, strength, endurance, and overall functional mobility make an impact on the everyday tasks you perform so that we can better anticipate the individualized needs of you and your family.

Design Work - Our team will then work to provide you with the most cost-effective solutions for your specific situation, taking into account anticipated short-term and long-term needs. We will create visuals to better your understanding of our recommendations, which can easily be utilized for improved communication with your remodeler, builder, designer, contractor, or architect.

Letter of Medical Necessity - We would be happy to provide you with a document outlining the benefits of the proposed modifications we recommend. While we cannot guarantee that your insurance company will help to offset the cost of your project, we are always willing to advocate for the well-being and safety of our clients.

Additional Services

Construction Site Visits - During the new building or remodeling process, our team can coordinate site visits along the way to ensure that our recommendations are being put into effect. We will help to advocate for your needs and make updates to your construction plan, if warranted. We will remain in communication with you, as well as your home building or home remodeling team.

Post-Construction Reassessment - After the completion of your project, our team can return to reassess the functionality of your home. We will analyze how you move in your new space in order to ensure that all of your needs have been met. Additionally, we can help to assist you in learning how to maximize the updates you've made.
